Adaptive Training:
Adaptive training is an individualized, guided exercise program designed to foster independence in the fitness facility setting. Each client starts with a comprehensive evaluation based on their unique needs. The evaluation determines the length of time spent one-on-one with the certified personal trainer. The amount of individual sessions may range anywhere from 3-10 sessions. Following the completion of the one-on-one sessions, the client may transition to a monitored adaptive class setting or to personal training sessions. The adaptive class setting is monitored by a certified personal trainer, available to provide assistance, program guidance, and progressions where warranted. The class is on-going to clients who have completed the evaluation and one-on-one sessions and qualify for continued participation.
Adaptive Training is a perfect option for the following individuals:
- Post Physical Therapy – Orthopedic, Neurological, Cognitive, Oncology, Cardiovascular
- Community members coming to Wellness Club due to a specific diagnosis or condition
- Physician recommendation/referral
