Cardiac and Wellness Nurse
Monica is a rural Nebraska native, former Army Reserve Nurse, who earned her nursing diploma from Bryan Memorial Hospital School of Nursing, attended Doane College, and earned her bachelor’s degree in Nursing from Nebraska Wesleyan University. She has cared for cardiac patients in a variety of settings, including in-patient Telemetry, Cardiac catheterization and electrophysiology labs and out-patient Cardiac Rehab. Monica maintains her BLS and ACLS certifications. She enjoys working with a variety of people helping them live a healthy lifestyle by guiding them to take an active role in achieving their goals. In her spare time she enjoys volunteering at The Gathering Place, Matt Talbot Kitchen, short-term mission trips to Honduras, and in various study groups and Sunday school curriculum committee at her church. In the past, she has volunteered for Clinic With a Heart.
